AI & IP Features

CCTV cameras are now built for more than just general observation of a scene with poor quality images. With the ability to cover a greater area with fewer cameras and the ongoing ability to closely scrutinise the scene observed with greater detail while deterring against intrusion, the cameras offer unrivalled protection.

Active Deterrence

Active Deterrence cameras have significantly grown in popularity with their ability to actively deter planned intrusion using lights, sirens and pre-recorded and two-way audio. The cameras actively warn off intruders capturing crucial evidence of the attempted intrusion. Active Deterrence cameras generate an “Unconscious Glance” with the use of the siren and lights. Once the lights and sirens activate, Intruders typically tend to establish the source of the noise and as such will look directly at the camera which in turn can capture an image of the face, assuming it hasn’t been covered. Once the lights and sirens are active, the warm Smart Illuminators active which then provides colour images even on the darkest of evenings.

CCTV can also be utilised to safeguard employees and premises from accidental damage/incidents. With features such as line crossing, CCTV systems can be configured to send notifications or even ring alarms if employees or vehicles move into a restricted area or an area of danger thus preventing incidents from occurring.

In addition, Thermal Imaging cameras can be used to protect vital equipment within a site to monitor the equipment’s temperature and again the system can be configured to send a variety of notifications to inform select personal of the equipment status.

Heritage and Commercial Application

Wired CCTV is applicable in all applications whether it be a heritage site or a small or large commercial premises. In depth site surveys will establish the most appropriate cable routes to prevent intentional interference.

The bespoke solution will be designed in accordance with BS EN 62676 during which the designer will evaluate the minimum performance and functional requirements for the system while establishing the framework and selection of equipment appropriate for the project.

In addition, if required the system will be further designed and configured to confirm to BS 8418 which specifically addresses the design, installation and operation of remotely monitored, detector activated CCTV systems that are managed by 3rd party monitoring providers.

Advice and guidance will be offered to ensure that upon successful implementation of the CCTV system, the customer then follows through with the appropriate GDPR 2018 requirements.

Our Experiences

We have worked with several high-profile sites such as Sailsbury Cathedral whereby the team designed and installed the CCTV system responsible for protecting the “Magna Carta” in Chapter House within the Cathedral.

In addition, the team have designed and installed systems from four cameras through to hundreds of camera systems of a bespoke nature.
