General Application
A wired Access Control system can be applied to all applications both heritage and commercial applications. While there are more limitations for use with heritage properties, protection can still be applied when sensibly designed. Commercial applications can be easily installed and configured to suit the customers exacting requirements.
Access Control system is designed in accordance with BS EN 60839 which is the primary standard for electronic access control systems defining the requirements for design, installation and ongoing maintenance.
In addition, a designer should consider BS 7273 and BS 5839 which consider the requirements for releasing the doors in a fire event, and BS 7671 considers the safe wiring of the system.
ARC have installed hardwired Access Control systems into properties ranging from Cathedrals through to large commercial premises with experience in having installed thousands of doors.
