All new building design will now incorporate refuge stations for disabled persons during an emergency or fire alarm activation.

Communications must be provided between these points and a manned control location to allow the person to call for assistance, and provide two way speech so the person can be advised on the evacuation procedure.

ARC Fire Safety use an industry standard system, which utilising either call buttons or telephones, can be used for disabled refuge, fire telephones or stadium marshall applications.
