Case Study - Radio Nurse Call - Lavender House Care Home

Remit

The owner of Lavender House Care home had recently purchased the property and was almost at completion of a major refurbishment when he discovered the existing Nursecall system was inoperable and also obsolete. His major concern was the damage to the new décor the installation of a new nurse call system would cause. ARC Fire Safety suggested a radio wire free Nurse call system be considered

Action

ARC Fire Safety completed the design and signal strength survey for a new radio nurse call system with three days of the initial customer call. Within another seven days, a new system had been installed and commissioned without the need to run any cables or surface containment around the building. This wire free installation ensured each device was fitted within a few minutes, which enabled the ARC Fire Safety installation Engineers to work around the staff, residents and builders with a minimum of disruption.

Result

The client was delighted that ARC Fire Safety had reacted so swiftly, and more importantly had installed a new system without costly or unsightly damage to the new refurbishment. This project demonstrated the commitment to customer care that the company constantly strive for, and resulted in the client awarding his entire contract to ARC Fire Safety Ltd.
