Case Study - Intruder Alarm - Large School

Remit

A fire had caused major damage to a large school in Rugby and the Local Authority instructed a Portable Building Company to erect an entire Secondary School in a multiple block format within the six week summer holiday period.

Action

ARC Fire Safety was tasked with protecting some 20 buildings with a Security System. A Galaxy Intruder Alarm was fitted throughout the complex, consisting of some 260 zones of protection. A master control facility was installed to the central staff building, allowing the individual arming and disarming to each building. The system was remotely monitored using B.T. Redcare.

Result

The Intruder System was completed on schedule, allowing the school to take occupation at the start of the new term. The client was delighted that all areas were secure and no school time was lost due to delays.
