Would everyone in your building hear the fire alarm?
Deaf Alerta is now the UK,s most widely used system for alerting the deaf and hard of hearing to a fire alarm condition or public address message. Many hard of hearing persons cannot hear a fire alarm, and as most hearing aid users sleep without the aids in, they will not wake in the event of an emergency. Dear Alerta is a radio based system that provides the user with a pager. The pager will sound and vibrate and show the desired message, such as ‘FIRE ALARM’ or ‘CONTACT RECEPTION’. The system will alert the pager wherever it is within the protected building.
At night, the pager is placed into a cradle which incorporates a vibrating pad which is placed under the person’s pillow. This system is the perfect solution to overcome the requirements of a deaf or hard of hearing person, and ensure the owner is compliant with the DDA. Radio surveys and quotations are completed free of charge and obligation.
