ARC Fire Safety's association with the Channel Islands started in 2003 when the company was recruited by the Guernsey States Education Dept as the radio fire alarm specialist for the schools fire alarm upgrade program, providing the radio equipment and system commissioning as well as supporting the Island installation companies' throughout the program. ARC Fire Safety is still retained by the States Education Dept to this day for ongoing technical support and maintenance for the schools and its own headquarters.

ARC Fire Safety's reputation for expertise in fire alarms and excellent customer service has grown within the Channel Islands over recent years, and this has resulted in a steady increase in business both with support to local installers and also directly with a number of clients, which include Ladies College, Castle Cornet, Les Ormes Care Home, The Jerbourg Hotel, Alderney Electric and many more hotels, care homes and commercial and domestic premises.

In 2008, the decision was taken to further improve the support to the Channel Island client base by opening an office on Guernsey. The company were delighted to recruit Steve Bonsall as the local Sales and Technical Manager. As a resident of Guernsey himself, Steve has a wealth of industry experience and provides a total service from system design and survey to immediate service support.
