Case Study - CCTV - School Facility

Remit

During the fit out of a new temporary school facility in East London, acts of vandalism and site break-ins caused the end user concerns over the security of the new buildings and their contents.

Action

ARC Fire Safety designed and installed a Perimeter CCTV System to ensure all site entrances and building perimeters were covered. High-resolution cameras were fitted with LED clusters to provide excellent picture quality, even during hours of darkness. All camera activity was recorded onto a large capacity hard disc recorder, which provided the client the facility to archive any incidents onto a DVD.

Result

The system provided a good deterrent as no further major incidents took place. The client was impressed with the quality of pictures the system delivered, and was able to use the system on a number of occasions to deal with internal incidents.
